A Fable about Smartness
Smarter beloveds hardly realize how unusual they are. They assume that it's normal to think as they do when explaining their concepts to those they trust and cherish.
As their heightened intellects leap and flash from relative this to (or versus) relative that, the immediately disoriented amore hears only the melody of a lover's voice rather than depth of proposed profundities.
Yet, to him (or her) this submission to normalcy is not demoralizing. Up to now, he (or she) has lived every day managing mundanely and feels privileged just being close to such a radiance. And she (or he) humbly marvels at the rare coincidence of keen sagacity being capable of lucid expression.
Yet weep not for these regular (but adored) ones, for they are blessed with private incentives!
They understand that their beloveds' giftedness can be subtly re-channeled - even towards enriching the pleasurable practice some describe as 'lovemaking'. And (blessedly) they are stimulated in knowing that from this adept in their life they are getting the simply best in awesome plenty.
Moral: A large acumen is variously penetrating.
