A Fable about Possibilities.
At a recent Grand Notions convention, one fellow presented on how to eradicate the vermin problem by use of statistico-temporal subterfuges.
His basic proposal was, that beginning with Roaches, if everyone everywhere killed a single errant one each day, and since Roaches are more finite than days, then, applying such a rational approach would inevitably skew all offending pests towards a definite zero population.
At this point, another fellow in the front row rose to ask whether or not then, was this the booth which would address the problem of removing a flimsy out a fish bowl with water in it.
To which the cipher-man admitted a low probability.
